I am in Canada on work permit with my parents in home country. We are being ill treated by my in-laws and constantly threaten of cops putting us behind bars and legal entanglement by them as me and my wife are not able to understand each other and stay together. Is it possible to request for refugee protection from within Canada for myself and my parents in home country?

What you have described is not grounds for a refugee claim. Neither you nor your parents fit the refugee criteria. If you apply, expect a refusal.

If you still want to proceed with a claim - you and your parents will have to apply separately. In order to apply, your parents will first have to be identified as refugees for resettlement by UNHCR.

Think carefully before you make a claim. As noted, nothing you've described qualifies you for refugee.

If you make a claim like this, you will be rejected. Then you will deported from Canada (and Canada just passed a law to speed up the deportation process). Your chances of ever returning to Canada plummet to almost 0%. Do you want to risk that? Also, if you apply for a visa to go to another country, you will have to declare your rejected refugee claim.... making it harder to get a visa to any country.
