Hi I’m a refugee claimant I’ve been in Canada 11 months now. I’ve meet someone from my home country when I arrived and things are getting serious. We are thinking about getting married. She express that she claimed refugee status got approved and is waiting to put in her PR for her status.
She is waiting for my hearing in order to put in for PR status.
I’m wondering if we should go through with the marriage before my hearing and file for PR status with her, or wait until after the hearing? I don’t want to be separated from here because I know a departure order would be out if I withdraw my claim.
