I’m a refugee claimants in the city of Montreal, unfortunately my case was reject and I’m looking to appeal. However my wife is having troubles getting jobs and she want us to move to London Ontario. My question is in what way would our relocating to Ontario affect our case ?

Yes you can move. Moving to London doesn't guarantee a job. Also depends on whether you have the money to move. At this point don't believe you will qualify for legal aid in Ontario. If you are receiving welfare you will have to stop when you leave Quebec and restart in Ontario. There is likely to be a period where you receive no money. If you are working this won't be an issue.

What do you mean London doesn’t guarantee job?

I have Bn working for a year and I’m not depending on welfare, just want to move to English peaking Prov cause it my child and my wife

It doesn't affect your case, contact IRCC/CBSA/IRB and notify them of the address change.
Your appeal hearing will be with the Central region IRB here in Toronto.
Then move!

I have met people that applied in Montreal, and transferred to Ontario, and still waiting for hearings. So no worries bud!

your laywer needs to sumbit an official request to Toronto IRB in order to move ur file from Montreal to Toronto.you can always move to different provinces just update the address with CIC & IRB/RAD.if toronto doesnt approve the transfer request in that case ur file will be processed from Montreal but u can live wherever u want.

Moving to London Ontario doesn’t guarantee that your wife will find and job versus in Montreal. Do you have a job lined up already in London? Since you have a job in Montreal it would be a good idea for at least one of you to find a job in London before moving since you already have a job in Montreal.

If you are receiving legal aid in Montreal you will have to change lawyers. Unfortunately legal aid now only covers a small part of asylum claims.
