A friend of mine is worried that his case might be rejected , is it better he withdraws the application or go ahead with the hearing, pls advice.

We need more info. What was his status before? Is he/she thinking of returning ro their home country. Should really tall to their lawyer to see what their options are. Unfortunately people are unaware that once you claim asylum it is difficult to return to another status.
