Refugee claim rejected(need passport back)

Hi.I am a indian citizen and my refugee claim was recently rejected.
My federal appeal is in process.
But over the past few months , my situation back home has changed drastically and I don't have a threat any more.
Now, I want to go back to India as I feel safe.

My question:
1) As my valid passport was taken away by IRB (IMMI & REFUGEE BOARD)during my claim process.Will I get it back?
2) IF YES, THEN HOW DO I GET IT BACK?what is the time process for the same?
3) Once I reach India, will I have trouble with indian immigration authorities?
I WILL SOON CONSULT MY LAWYER...BUT BEFORE THAT I MIGHT WANT SOME OPINIONS FROM THE FORUM ASWELL.

1. Are you sure that it was the IRB that seized your passport, not CBSA?
2. They will not release your passport until arrange a flight, and the passport will be returned at the airport when you board the flight.
3. I guess you know that your removal order has now turned into a deportation order.
4. You will probably be questioned on your return to India.

Hi.....my passport expires in may 2014...I plan to leave in the month of august...how will I renew my passport if I get it at the airport.....will my old passport be renewed from indian consulate..what is suggested here???

Quite likely you will be removed before then. If not, CBSA will have you complete an application for a new passport.

Hi.
Once your fed.appeal is rejected .you would be called for an interview at the immi n detention center at airport road in Toronto ( my case).
They will give you one month time for departure.
During this time you have to arrange your air ticket in the airline listed by them .if its India then probably jetairways via Brussels.try to buy your own ticket.if they buy then you will have to pay the govt of India in India and more problem.
You have to show them the ticket as soon as possible
On the day of departure .you have to report at their office at airport .they will handover you the copy of passport and a letter for checkin counter.your passport would b handed over to airline crew directly and one officer will escort you to the plane abd stand outside the jetty until the plane departs.
In Brussels as plane and crew changes..your passport in a sealed envelope would b handed to Brussels airport police.
In Brussels you would b taken into a lockup room and you will have to be there for 3 to 6 hrs until ur connecting flight....in Brussels airport police will escort you to the plane.and handover your sealed envelope to the crew.
On landing in India.
Indian immigration people already have the list of people being deported.your sealed envelope which has your passport and reason for departure letter would b handed over by the crew member to immigration.
I was interrogated abt my arrival for 3 hours and kept in a room for 8 hours until morning at India airport.
As my case was voluntary departure I had no deportation stamp.
I managed to cook up a story.
And my passport was stamped with arrival stamp and handed over to me. All other letter in envelope they kept .
I went through hell at Brussels and at India airport.
Be prepared to be treated as a criminal.
