Refugee claim refused

If a refugee claim is refused what are the other options available to such an applicant. Is he allowed to apply for PNP programs? What about H and C ?

H&C is not an option if someone has been refused as a refugee.

The person can certainly apply for PNP. However applying for PNP won't allow them to remain in Canada. If they have been told to leave Canada as a result of the refugee refugee claim - they still have to leave.

The person is presently on work permit and has applied for extension of work permit. Will the work permit be extended now that his refugee claim( in Montreal) is refused?

On what basis did they apply to extended their work permit?
