Hi folks,
Despite of waiting for a very long time and now getting mentally and physically fed up . Does anyone know what is the procedure for withdrawal and it’s consequences ? How long it takes to get seized passport back ? We are family with two kids.
I agree that you should consider carefully before withdrawing. However I assume you have already done that.

Withdrawing will trigger a departure order and you'll need to make plans to leave Canada. The process to withdraw is here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/refugee-protection/canada/processing-claims-refugee-protection-withdrawals-suspensions.html

Your passport will not be returned to you until you are physically leaving Canada (i.e. your passports will be handed back to you at the airport when you are boarding your plane to leave).

Exactly, and I don't want to apply for income assistance because they say it has bad affects on my case and in the hearing date. So cash jobs are the only option.
Income assistance has nothing to do with your case that's a misconception among people that if we don't take income assistance and pay taxes so our refugee claim would be accepted that's totally wrong

Don't withdraw it, you will regret it later. You should have expected this as there are a lot of people in same situation but you need to be patient, think of the good things that will happen after you get accepted and get citizenship.

I agree with @jinglebell0123 it is a hard time. Just think after you get pR and then citizenship you can visit almost everywhere plus Canada is a nice country. Don’t withdraw and good things will come. IRCC has such a huge backlog because of all the applications plus this stupid coronavirus have slowed down things. Don’t worry be patient and your application will be approved

It's not necessary. Whether you use or or not is a personal choice. Factors that can influence that decision can include the strength and complexity of your case.

Its your choice to use or not to. But be mindful incase of legal complication requiring submission or representation, then you need one.

It’s better to have a lawyer even if you cannot afford go for “legal aid “.
Fact is

lawyer charge you for doing “nothing “ but keep in mind one TIP can cause your success ..so if would be on ur place then definitely I will hire a lawyer because cost of appeals ,H&c and praa etc is much more than hiring a competent lawyer in first go ..
