Reference letter how to request it?

Hello,
How can we get the reference letter based on the readily available format from our employers?
Our HR managers are will never go through this length to type this letter.
What is the best way to get it?

Best way is to type one yourself including the date and request them to go through it once and copy paste it onto their letter head and sign it.

I second this-- it's exactly what I did. I drafted the letter myself and asked my HR rep to print it on letterhead and sign it. He even sent me two copies.

When do we have to submit the reference letter? At the time of filling online CIC application or when we get ITA?

You will be asked to provide evidence of your work experience after you've received an ITA (in your online PR application).
