Hello people,

I have 6 years of experience from 2 companies (3 year each), i have recieved ITA and collecting documents now, my current employer has agreed to give me all the documents that i require, but my previous employer is not interested at all, it is a small company with hardly 15 people working and the Hr guy has changed 2 years ago . Now i don't know what to do.
Can i apply with whatever documents i have? I am afraid when they call them foe background verification they might not respond to cic's request at all.

Should i inform visa officer about this?

experience years caps at 3 years, anything more is pointless and didn't bring you extra points. you can remove your other work experience (as long as your first one is in NOC 0 a or B. Please read the points distribution carefully to make sure they didn't go down post ITA

It is definitely not pointless depending on the applicants' score under the six selection factors, he has to be careful if he is to remove work experience as he may become ineligible under the FSW program.

would it still be a factor in this case?? i don't think i've considered that situation before

Of course it is a factor to consider, there is a difference of 4 points under the six selection factors between 6 years and 3 years of work experience, if he falls below the required 67 points his application will be rejected.

He hasnt stated how many years of work experience he has on his primary NOC so that is something he has to think about.

Do you have full n final settlement doc with you? If yes submit that along with a letter to CiC stating the actual situation. This can be accepted.
