Hello all,

I am working in US and cannot ask my employer to issue me a reference letter as that would jeoperdize my job.
Can I get my job responsibilities typed on a plain A4 size paper from my colleague and get it notarized ?
If so, can somebody please tell me how can I get this document notarized (or have an affidavit created) in US. Actually I don't know the legal process here, so somebody who has similar US experience can guide me. Thanks for your help.
