Reference for rentals Surrey Vancouver

Hi all

im a new immigrant with family. Im soon moving to BC and would like to rent in Surrey.

I will be looking for a job later.

What will the landlord require ?

I have ontario DL...bank account.....SIN
and PR card.

I cant give job reference so i dont have one. I can provide bank account maintenance lettet.

What i be able to get a rental ?

Landlord usually look at your income for affordability + Credit Score and few also look for criminality and background checks. It depends what range and price you are looking at. Market is tight now a days and lots of offer for one single unit
