Unique question .....again

Here are the facts.

My wife is Costa Rican we were married in Canada Aug 24, 2015 and she left for Costa Rica Jan 9, 2015 to visit family and friends.
While there she went to renew her Canadian Visa and was refused and also had her current visa cancelled. We asked our lawyer this and were told it was an OK thing to do.
Prior to leaving she also had her immi medical done here. She currently has a IMI number

Currently we are setting up the Outland Immigration process and she has been requested to take further medical tests.....
The lawyer I have spoken to says for expediency sake it would be best just to redo the exam in Costa Rica rather than have two seperate test components from two separate countries.

I am inclined to agree but would like to hear this boards thoughts as this is the same lawyer that said it was ok for my wife to go back to Costa Rica and visit before we began an Inland application......

Thank You

She can just do the requested tests in Costa Rica. It will not speed things up or make it easier to re-do the whole medical in Costa Rica; it will simply cost you more money.

Thanks Canuck

We talked to the Costa Rican Doctor and his response was verbatim to yours.

I am wondering about my lawyer now

Ditch the lawyer and do the app on your own. Experiences with lawyers on this forum tend to be negative.
