hi Everyone,

i am seeking some input based on other folks who may have had settlement after Judicial review of a visitor visa application and then went through redetermination to share their experience.

i filed third visitor visa for my niece in dec 2024 with a reputed canadian law firm after 2 self filed rejections in 2019, she is minor 14 years old. This 3rd app was also rejected then i filed a judicial review as we had prepared a strong application.
IRCC settled the case and now we are waiting for application opening for redetermination by a different officer.
I am thinking to retain the law firm for redetermination step however there is always chances of another refusal requiring another JR thus would liketo hear from others who may have gone through this.

The entire process required tremendous money bleeding thus want to make the most appropriate decision.

I have 2 key questions:
1) for those who went through this , did you retain the law firm for re-determination stage as well or did you take care of redetermination stage by yourself.
2) what documents you submitted for ADR stage, how long the process took.

Appreciate any feedback.
