i am not the best person to comment on this but i had done thorough research about the POF topic from 2 different branches of ww!cs before i sent my application. they all said that bank statement should be of 6 months.

but to avoid that risk, how about making a fixed deposit of that amount?? and sending the copy receipt as POF.. thats wht i did.

Sagar.

I agree with saxena.sagar.

another way is to get balance certificate from bank which wont show any deposit dates if u dont want to make the fixed deposit commitment. correct me if i am wrong

Seniors,

As u all know that by grace of God I have received my Medical Request.

But I have one major concern. While sending docs my major Funds Proof was our Flat evaluation which they have accepted. But now with Medicals they have again requested to show Funds Proof.

I want to know if I can agin show Property or it should be liquid money in account.

Seniors plz guide as I am in big trouble.

Thanks.

Meena
Hi Meena,

Congrats first of all. As suggested by all, try and arrange money in your accounts and send then statement even if it is 5 days old statement. Try and send it on with bank seal and manager's sign on it. My best wishes.

Hi
no need to Account statement..just go with Balance Certificate signed by Bank Manager...

Greetings...
Manpreet is 100% right. No need to send the bank statement. Only Bank Balance certificate issued by the bank on their letter head will do. Even i have sent the same. I put the money into my bank account only one day before and next day got balance certivifacte and it worked.
All the best

Payment in indian rupee is better

Thank you.

For providing all these details.

Meena

@meena
Total amount for u both should be 21440*2=42880 INR

The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" payable at New Delhi.

Go ahead, No problem at all, It will be acceptable

i have a joint account with my parents and according to my bank it is possible to only reflect my name as owner of the account in the bank certificate if we request for it.

can i pass this as proof of funds? do they always ask for bank statements? For it is only then that they will see that i have my parents as co-owners of the account. will this be a negative to my application?

thank you!

i also received POF again with medical.
I think this is what they do to confirm that you have money.
So beside a bank reference letter, I also included photocopy of my passbook.
It showed that worked.
Good luck to you!
