Did you have a written invitation to the nikkah ceremony or to the reception. Do you have any pictures? Was there a guest book? Do you have receipts for paying for any of this?

You should get some people to write you a letter of support: people who were at the nikkah or reception and people who knew that your wife was living with you. You could maybe get friends or relatives or maybe a landlord if you rented your apartment. If possible, it would be good to get about 2 of those notarized, but you could also include more that are not notarized.

People could write about how long they have known you were going to be married to her, why they think your relationship is real, etc. If the ceremony and reception was not customary for your location and your faith community, you will need to explain somewhere why it was unusual.
