Recent Permanent Resident that has forgotten to declare a suitcase

Hi there,
Recently became a Permanent Resident and when I went through customs I declared that one suitcase would be following me. i forgot there was a second suitcase. do I need to let customs know about this prior to their arrival? if so who do I contact and how?
