Receiving PR card and mailing address issue.

Hello, I applied CEC and got Medical Exam request after waiting 10 month. Here is my situation.
I applied CEC last year in Canada and left country. I haven't update my address on CIC.
People said that I will receive PR approval by mail. Because I am in another country, I can't receive it in Canada.
What are alternatives to receive documents?

I possibly think some alternatives such as update my mailing address in Canada to my friend's house,
update my mailing address to my current address in another country...

What could be the best way in this case?

When you land in Canada with your PR visa and officially become a PR - they will ask you to confirm your address and will use this address to mail your PR card. You must provide an address in Canada (it can be your friend's address). The will not mail the PR card outside of Canada.
