I recently moved back to Canada. Before we left Korea, my wife & I sent 2 dozen boxes (of old clothes, etc.) to my cousins' business in the GTA through Korea Post by sea.
When I landed in Canada, a customs officer informed me that the sender (Korea Post) & receiver (my cousins' business) would have to sort out a location for me to go to and sign some papers to get the boxes.
Does anyone know exactly how this procedure works? My cousin doesn't speak Korean, and so cannot communicate with Korea Post, and he only deals locally, so he doesn't have a broker in place to handle such foreign shipments.
The boxes are set to arrive in 2-4 weeks, so I'd really like to know what to expect before they get here.
