Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone here received their AOR1 after 30 days without being able to link their application online under MyCIC or ECAS?
My application was received by CPC-M on Jan. 25/17 (27 days), however I have heard nothing through mail or email. I did call the IRCC call centre twice yesterday (Feb. 20/17) and talked to two different agents, both of whom told me that my receipt number was not even registered in the system, so I am assuming that my application has not even been touched. Both these agents assured me that it was not anything out of the ordinary and that I need to wait because they said it is not unusual that it take a month or MORE for the IO to review the application.
I told them that I read on this discussion forum that applications from Jan 30 and 31 were being reviewed and was wondering why mine hadn't even been opened. They both couldn't confirm this.
I am confused how other people here could be given this information when they called and these two agents couldn't say if this was true or not. I guess I have the ultimate bad luck or I am not asking the right questions.
From what they told me, I suspect maybe because my receipt has not been entered into the system that there also might be a problem with my application and that I will get it sent back. I have checked the mail everyday and my application has not shown up back at my house yet. So the other thing might be that it is lost at the processing centre in Mississauga.
Just wondering if anyone still had their applications processed after just receiving AOR1 30 days or later or in most cases the application was returned because of a problem.
