We got an email requesting my dad ( he’s the secondary applicant) to send his passport and I just checked the status online and it only updated today that medical has been passed.

So what’s next? Wondering why my mom (primary applicant) didn’t get the same request. And the email doesn’t include any details on how to send the passport.

Anyone experience same thing?

Are they in the same location? Same as application information?

Check the text of the letter, does it say applicant and dependents should send passports?

My guess is they just got the principal and dependents mixed up.

This is the exact email.

Okay, that clarifies then somewhat. Is there any further information like a reply-to address? What email address did this come from?

When you submitted application for your father, you provided passport information: is that passport still valid/validity left of less than six months?

What I think might be happening here is that they are literally asking for his passport information (not the physical passport) because the old one has expired or similar. If so, sending the info (plus a scan of bio-page recommended) by return email may be all they are asking for.

Kind of a guess.

Agree this appears to be asking for updated passport information. Application has not been finalized.
