Received passport request from CHC-Islamabad (Please response soon)

i'm new to this forum, found this site very informatic but i searched for my question and couldn't find the answer

i'm in Canada and sposored my husband in Feb 2009

Due to some documents request the process took long, but now on April 30th,2010 he received a passport request and he sent on may 3rd,2010, but did not receive any response yet.

So my question is, his passport will expire in October,2010, do you think they will make issue that passport should be valid for 6 months to get visa, his medical expires in january.

I think no one has answer to this, so for your information,

NO there be no issue of Validity of 6 month for spouse visa, because he got the visa 06/21/10 (Yesterday)
