Received OINP application package back after regular ITA .

Hi All,

Just thought of sharing this information.
I received my OINP application back as it is along with the CAD1500 DD.
This is after I requested to withdraw my application for OINP since I received ITA from the general draws.

I just wanted to know if anyone else has received their package back after request ?
And should it be okay to just go ahead and cancel the DD ?

Yes, people get back their file with DD, if the AOR has not been sent. Generally AOR is sent when the DD is encashed. You can contact your bank with the DD and request them to cancel it and refund the money to you.

When did u send an email.
I received email reply in 5-6 working days with acceptance of my withdrawal and a standard voluntary withdrawal notice.

I emailed a week ago. I also mailed them a letter.

Can you tell me your time line and which email you sent the letter to.
