Hi guys,

I am currently at the stage of waiting for CSQ ( Quebec sponsorship).

My husband is the sponsor. We received our 2015 T4 returns two weeks ago (not attached in the sponsorship application..)and my husband's income in 2015 was much higher than 2014. Also, my 2015 income was way much more than 2014 as well.

So, I would like to let CIC know the update of our income ....

1. Do I email the visa office or mail the copies to them ? On their sponsor approval sheet, they say that I can use email for address change and etc?
2. Will this delay my application processing time?

Thank you

for spouse you don't have to prove your financial capability
but it is always good to show it since me and my husband income is not bad..so it shows to the government that we are active tax payers...

CIC doesn't care if you pay taxes. There is no need to send your T4s.

Hi Breeze123,

If you are a normal employee (not self-employed), to show the strength of your current financial status, the document you should include are:
  • Your letter of employment (with info of your occupation and your annual income), and
  • Your option-C printout
