Received my COPR AND PASSPORT.

Hello guys..recently I received my passport and confirmation of PR...JUST need some advice...what's my next step?should I go to border directly or should I make an appointment?and how much time does it take to get my PR CARD? they gave me is for 8 month visa...and it's written immigrant...what does that mean? Is it possible to work elsewhere with other company for cheque as am on a close working permit which expires in December. am a temporary foreign worker living in Canada....

You can't work for a different employer until you have landed and become a PR.

Up to you if you go to the border or make an appointment to land at an office within Canada.

The PR card will take approximately 9 weeks to arrive after you land.
