Can't comment on bank statement as i haven't lived in Canada.... but maybe you can give someone you know there 'power of attorney' to get it on your behalf ? ..... or get a phone meeting with your bank's manager instead of the receptionist and explain your situation and ask about options ?nevillek said:Thanks Stanley.
I have two issues now - police certs and POF letter.
I finished my masters in Canada and am currently on a 3 year work permit but had to come back home to India urgently for my mother's surgery. So before leaving Canada, I had got bank statements and a POF letter from my bank there but it's over 3 months now. I received the ITA today but have bank statements from July 2016.
Would these be acceptable? It will be very difficult to get another letter from the bank while overseas as the receptionist there told me I need to be present physically in person. Also, I don't return back to Canada until MARCH.
Also, it takes ages to get a police cert from USA (I've visited USA multiple times).
