I would really appreciate any inputs from someone who has been in this situation before.
Our situation: I am the primary applicant and had more than 1 year of Canadian work experience. My spouse, however, started working in Canada in Oct 25th 2021, so his 1 year work anniversary will be on Oct 25th 2022. Because of how the system calculate CRS points, our EE profile gets awarded 5 points before my spouse reached his 1-year anniversary.
The additional points helped us got the ITA today. However, without this 5 pts, our profile will be lower than the cut-off. Should we:
1. Accept this ITA and wait until after my spouse 1-yr work anniversary to submit the PR application, or
2. Decline this ITA and wait for the next draw?
There seems to be a lot of people having similar questions, but none seems to have the specific situation where the extra point coming from there spouse, so I think I would be the first to ask.
