Received ITA, spouse pregnant just before medical test

Hi,
I recently received ITA and in process of documents submission. We have our medical test scheduled next week and now we got to know that my wife is 5 weeks pregnant. We are thinking to go ahead with the x-ray using a shield. Is this safe? And what implication it will have on our application? Is there anyone who received PR approval and landed Canada even before delivery of child?

Please advise?
