Hi There
I am new to the forum as I have always found an answer to my questions previously posted!
However this week I have received an ITA - super shocked and super happy!
Now for the next stage...
My partner and I have been together for 17 years, he is on my application (obviously) and would be accompanying me.
I am at the stage of the application where you have to file all your supporting documentation - there is a LOT but that is not a major concern or problem.
I have just printed off the IMM5409 the Statutory Declaration of Common Law Union
I cannot see in any of the information if this form MUST be completed and uploaded, but I am assuming it should be.
Also it appears that it has to be witnessed by 1 of these 3, Public Notary, Commissioner of Oaths or Commissioner of Taking Affidavits.
Does this mean I have to make an appointment with a Solicitor to have them witness us complete and sign the form together?
Probably a daft question but I can't see anybody else asking it!
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated as I go off to tackle the paperwork mountain!
Thank you in advance!
