Dear Team,

I have received COPR as part of my express entry permanent residence application.

I noticed that Last entry date and orig. entry date in COPR is not correct when compared to my passport.

Last entry date is 21st July 2013 but accordingly to my passport my last entry date in Canada is 3 Dec 2016.

Similary orig. entry date in COPR mentioned is 21st July 2013, however as per my passport first time I came to Canada in Jan 2012.

Could this cause any trouble at border in landing formalities?

If needed, could this be corrected and how?

Please provide your expert advise.

Thank you for your support !

Thank you for the reply !

If I don't get it corrected, could it cause any trouble at border in landing formalities?

What is the average processing time for the correction?

tbh i have read that it can take anywhere from 1 month to 6 months for them to make that correction . but then again it could be different in your case . just apply it asap

Hello,

I had the same situation that you have now. I would suggest to not listen about this amednment process because if you didn't land yet than it's not for you.
Amendment process is for those who recognize issues with their COPR while doing landing or after. But this is for issues not regarding entries dates but for example your name is wrong, place of birth is wrong etc.

On your COPR you have an instruction that if there is something wrong with your COPR than you need to send it back BUT.....

I have several issues on my COPR, my place of birth was wrong and first and last entry was wrong. So I did according to instruction and sent it back.
It took not more than 2 weeks to get COPR back.
What they did correct was my place of birth but not the entry dates. They explained that this dates can be only corrected during landing and it was.
During landing I just told the officer that the dates are wrong and he asked me for stamps from my first entry and last and when I showed it to him, he just put a notice on COPR, that's all.

So don't be scared of it, everything will be ok as long as you will just inform officer during landing about it.

I did my landing on 27th of April and I did it in CIC office. So I'm not sure if your are going to land at the office or at the port of entry.

In general this was a really good experience after this long time of waiting and struggeling with completing the application.
The give you specific time that you need to come. At first you need to check-in, where they are taking your COPR and ask you to wait with others until they will call you.
After they call you they will ask you questions like: "Were you convicted of a crime?; Do you have any children back in your country" etc. Then they will ask you to double check all information on COPR if everything is fine and than you will need to sign it. They will tell you the processing time of PR card and that's all.
In my case it took less than 10 min.

Awesome! Thank you.How much did you have to wait for your CIC appointment after requesting for it? I am thinking of flag polling as i heard 'CIC landing' could be scheduled anytime between 1-3 months after requesting.
