Hi,

Anyone here who has recently got the round of invitation ?Although I was expecting some kind of formal message but my Express Entry profile just moved to PR application and I see the 60 days timer. I have a few queries:

1) When they ask for proof of employment fro previous employers, will the offer letter and release letter suffice or we literally have to get a new letter from previous employer with my employment details.

2) Although, the website says, I can postpone my medical examination till I get another request , but the proof of medical exam has been marked required document in the application.Can this still be postponed or I should get the medicals done now.

3) In case of intra company transfees , can I make just one entry with a letter giving the details of my travel between the India and Canada office?

4) After submitting the application, if I need to travel to my native country for vacation, do I have to update the application?

Thanks,
S

Congratulations!

Now, memorize this page -

You will note that there are specific details that MUST be in the letters of employment, that attest to your PRIOR work experience. (Job offer letters are written before you do the job, so they cannot serve that purpose).

If your "release letter" contails all the following details, it MAY suffice. If it does not have all the required information, you will need to get another letter.

"a reference or experience letter from the employer

... should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and e-mail address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company);

... should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits.
