I applied for my Start-Up Visa application in Apr 2022 along with my team and we received the following:

1: IRCC received our application for permanent residence on April 22, 2022.
2: They started processing your application on APR 28, 2024.
3: They sent you correspondence on APR 13, 2024. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
4: They asked for PCC, Funds proof, Travel history, Passport copy, and biometrics.

There after long silence. NO MEDICAL, NOTHING from IRCC at all. what we should do in this case? What should we do? Checking On-Line Services eagerly but no update.

Community, Please provide any assistance that can be provide us with at least the actual update.

As per 40 months of the processing period our timeline is 22 AUG 2025. Will we receive COPR where still Medical, PAL is not been processed.

Please respond!

Hi,

The estimated processing time of 40 months is not a guarantee that an applicant will receive their Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) within that timeframe. The actual duration can vary significantly, either taking longer or shorter than the projected timeline. This variability is due to numerous factors, including but not limited to:

In our particular case, we have already exceeded the estimated processing time by three months, having waited for 43 months, and we are still awaiting our COPR.

Hi Boparaa
,
To better enable me (and others) to try answering your question, I’d need a few more details:

  • Is your Designated Organization (DO) a priority one?
  • Are you an inland or outland applicant?
  • What’s your timeline (application submission date, AOR, etc.)?
  • Are you applying as a sole applicant, or are you part of a team? If it’s a team, how many members?
  • your Nationality and team members"if possible"
Once you provide this info, it’ll be easier to give you a more accurate idea about your PPR timeline.

I received pre arrival letter on September 17,2024 then pre arrival notification email on November 4,2024
Since then NOTHING happened
I asked for GCMS note that showed I am in queue for a free slot after processing all applicants from prioritized DO
BTW, I applied in January 2021 and my DO had no priority ( on that time no DO were prioritized)
Hope you and other applicants receive very good news soon

Unfortunately, I don't know much about spouse visas. I thought you were under SUV; however, you are at the last stage ( but maybe a long one for some and not for others ). After the letter of support, the applicant goes to a security check, which is followed by a final decision. Some applicants go to a normal security check, which normally needs around 2 months, and some go to a comprehensive one, which needs much longer. In a nutshell , nobody, even the lawyers and specialists, can give you a definite answer, but I think Inshallah it will be soon.
