Really worried...Please help. Post ITA

Dear Seniors!

I am really worried regarding my application. I received ITA in August and submitted my application in early October. I have 2 problems here:

• When I had submitted the application it was showing complete. Now if I check the transmitted application, in the education history it shows empty. Is it normal or my documents have not reached correctly. I am 100 percent sure that it was showing complete and all the rows correctly when I had submitted.
• This is even more serious - I read here that we need to submit high school documents also. I had submitted only Bachelor's onwards (one bachelor, two masters). How can I add high school (9th, 10th, 11th and 12th as per Indian education system) documents in my profile to avoid rejection. Please help guys.

Please suggest.

if you are 100%sure bt still its showing empty..just to make sure they receive you can send tha same documwnts wth explanation letter through case specific enquiry..you will also receive the confirmation that the documents has been added later and for the second one as far as i know you are required to submit the education from which you gain points and and the highest education one..but also there was no problem in providing all..you can do same as above for this...wait for others advice too..thats what i know

Thanks gorkhethito for your reply. I checked all the instructions in CIC for EE. It seems we don't have to upload documents regarding high school.

You must provide proof that you completed your post-secondary education. Examples of proof of education include a diploma and/or degree. Examples of post-secondary education are:

Trade/apprenticeship

Training in a specific trade, such as carpentry or auto mechanics;
Training in a profession that requires formal education but not at the university level (for example, dental technician or engineering technician); or
Training not at the university level for which a certificate/diploma is awarded.

Bachelor’s degree

This is an academic degree awarded by a college or university to those who completed an undergraduate curriculum (also called a baccalaureate). Example: a Bachelor of Arts, Science or Education.

Master’s degree

This is an academic degree awarded by a graduate school of a college or university.

Ph.D.

This is the highest university degree, usually based on at least three years of graduate studies and a thesis. Normally, you must have completed a Master’s degree before a Ph.D. can be earned.


My only concern is in Education details I provided information about Bachelor degree onwards. I did not include High school information. Can someone tell me, how can I make changes in the submitted application. Can I provide high school information now??

On your first point, ECAS and Mycic have been having technical issues lately. Your concern may relate to that. You could call CIC or send CSE to confirm the status of the documents.

Since you already submitted your application, it's not possible to make changes now. Why would you even want to add high school? You only need to input education you are claiming points for.

Thanks Tocanadawego for your response. But I read that High school information has to be provided in education history. I did not include the same there.

Now I am sure that documents are not required as a proof for high school. But entry is required in Education history. Correct me if I am wrong?

In my EE profile, I never mentioned anything about high school or my 11,12 .. just diploma and bachelors, now after getting an ITA, can I add these to my profile or just leave as it is.. some people in the forum say, it could be misrepresentation..

Leave it as it is. No reason to add high school credentials when you have at least a Bachelors degree.

I got this instruction in the Education History form.


We will assess XXXXX's secondary and post-secondary periods of study for eligibility for Express Entry, and use them to calculate XXXXX's score. You can tell us about each period of study by filling in the fields below.

Please let me know if secondary period of study is required or not.

If you have at least a post-secondary Bachelors degree, there is no reason to include secondary credentials anywhere in your EE application.
