Urgent help needed

Going to post my spose file tomorrow and have a question about Supplementry Travel Information form from India guide.

They asked how many passport have you had, including one you currently hold?
My wife changed her passport from her father name to my name. So it is her 2nd passport but privious one is canceled.

I am confuse now, what to write?? One or two??
Please guys help me asap

So, it is her second passport, and I would imagine you would write "two" as she's had two passports. If you are really concerned attach a brief letter explaining the cancelled passport, although I really don't think that's necessary.

2. She did have another passport. Cancelled is not much different than expired or filled up.

But yes, you can also put a note with it explaining it was cancelled so they don't ask her for it.
