Hello,

I am planning to apply for super visa for my mom. My mom resides in Bangladesh. She has completed her undergrad studies but she always has been a house wife. My mom never traveled abroad and she never obtained her birth certificate as it was not required. But recently she obtained her birth certificate and it has been provided with her present name. I am wondering should it be named with her maiden name or present name is fine.

Thanks In Advance

technically a birth certificate should have your birth name on it. However, if the birth certificate was only issued recently because she wasnt issued one when she was a child, i guess it would be given under her new name.

So long as the birth certificate is valid and official, i would include a note explaining the reason the new name is on it.
