No one can say. Youre best to order your notes to get a good idea as to where you are in the process
Not sure. Order your notesThanks. Im just wondering because we passed the second medical and when I talked to the MP , they said our security check is expired. Is there such thing as like that?
No, Security cannot get expired, you can seek details in CBSA notes about security.Thanks. Im just wondering because we passed the second medical and when I talked to the MP , they said our security check is expired. Is there such thing as like that?

MPs are NOT immigration officers or experts and often dont completely understand the information that the call center agents give them either. they only have a direct line to the call center.. who often give incorrect advise. you NEED to order your notes. no one here can answer your question. your notes can tell you where you are in the process and what the hold up isSo what was it exactly that the MP telling me about our security check expired? Im confused. Is it possible our police certificate? Thanks a lot!
MPs have very less knowledge of the terms used by IRCC.So what was it exactly that the MP telling me about our security check expired? Im confused. Is it possible our police certificate? Thanks a lot!
Thank you !!!!! Like really thank you for finally saying this. I tell everyone the same thing until I am blue in the face, the MP has no bearing over an application, nor do they get any secret info when they call.... they just have a direct line. Amen to that lol. Notes are the most accurate other than the officer itself. Even the call center has limited visibility and not a good understanding of process or policies and suchYes !!!! PCC is for criminality check. I would suggest you to read your CBSA notes if you think your security is a concern. GCMS and CBSA notes look the same but in GCMS notes the security part is hidden.
Honestly unless you are speaking to the officer you will never get a clear or correct answer, this is why notes are important. These notes are from the officer or officers who are actually working on your file. They are super useful, but hard to read sometimes . If you order your notes and need any help understanding them, there is a great thread in this forum all about it . I wish you the best of luck with the rest of your processYes you are right! Everytime the MP’s office gives me information I feel more depressed because they’re telling me inaccurate feedback. Thank you for this clarification. Now i understand.
