These days we are noticing movements on Sept Oct files mostly. So i think it not unusual that u havenot heard back from LVO since Jan.
My advice looking at the current trend is that you shud wait till June-July 2017 before getting worried. :) Meanwhile u can order ur notes or have a status update taken through the sponsor's MP. :)
Meanwhile u can also follow current LVO processing times here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/spousal-sponsorship-pakistan-london-visa-office.203899/page-1866

Overall process takes around 8.5 months on average. Hopefully less now that LVO seems to have picked pace.
You can order GCMS notes as per Access to information Act to see the visa officers notes in your case file. GCMS notes are 1 month old (takes 30 days to receive them) and they use technical codes and show you visa officer comments, as well as statuses of assessments.

More info: https://sites.google.com/site/canpakvisa/home/gcms

MP inquiry is when your MP will inquire status from LVO on your behalf, and it will be latest.
More info: https://sites.google.com/site/canpakvisa/home/member-of-parliament

DM means Decision Made on the principal applicant's side on ECAS (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=)

Amir bhai.. What about the new package applications (post Jan 1).. Will they follow the same trend i.e. Are they in that same que or are they being taken up simultaneously and dont need to wait till previous months applications have been processed.

AmyR is a behan :p

Nobody knows this for sure as we have not heard of any PPRs/additional document request from post jan applicants except for the usual Sch A, PCC & Med request.

the lady at the medical centre said that applicants from islamabad take less time compared to other cities plus your travel history matters as well
i've been to the states twice
i passed my medical test right away
since feb they're reviewing my eligibility
should I be worried?

I redone my medical on 15th march and results forwarded on 17th march according to IOM. And after that still silence don't know what going on. Sep oct files should get PPR nowadays. But be positive
