Hello,

I was going through the form B4 / B4A. It says that you have list the Canadian Value of the Items.

In case of jewellery, which value do you calculate. Because the jewellery I have was bought/gifted in 2010. Now, Which rate of gold should I use: Today's gold rate or the rate which was in 2010.

If I use today's gold rate, then the value will not match with the one on the receipts because they are as of 2010.

Also, I have some receipts from 2010 and some were gifts (for which I do not have receipts) .

I think you should use today's value rate.

are the individual items of persoanl clothing and toilertries need to be mentioned separately
like how many shirts trousers
and shaving kit like cream brush
it seems very akward

help needed for filling B4 and B4 a
i do not have any goods to follow so i would fill in importer name and my address and port of landing unique identfier number and landing date and goods list in form B4
and i would be using b4a to list them again
and then some excel sheets
am i rright please
