RE-ENTRY VISA APPLICATION at SEATTLE

hello everybody..just wondering, has anyone tried applying a reentry visa at seattle and if so how long does it usually take?I am from vancouver...I would like to know the timeline since I wanted to take a vacation around December..need help badly..thank you!!!

My friend who live in caregiver she was applied for TRV in seattle. She lives in Calgary .Here is her time line...

Office recieve app. on Sep 29, 2011
Got TRV issued on Oct 19, 2011
passport arrived at her house on Nov 1,2011 ( by USPS regular mail)

So that is over two months with the mailing. Took soooo long to be mailed back Did she send a stamped addressed envelop together with her application?

I was asked her about that too, but she said,she didnt send any envelop. If you wish them to mail back faster you can use Fedx that is only courier that they accept
