I am currently residing in Canada on a visitor record status. I received an invitation to apply for permanent residence in January and submitted my application in February under the Canadian Experience Class(CEC). I plan to travel to India in August; however, since my Temporary Resident Visa has expired, I will not be able to re-enter Canada under my current status. Therefore, I am considering returning to India and waiting for my permanent residence application to be processed, which I expect may be finalized around September or October. Once approved, I intend to have the PR card delivered to my address in Canada and then arrange for it to be sent to me in India through family members or courier, so that I can use it to return to Canada.
I have heard about PRTD, which is a one time entry visa application(Can apply once in foreign country). But it solely depends on the immigration officer to accept or reject the application and its a risky.
I would like to know which one is a reliable approach?
Any help would be appreciated !
Thanks.

No your plan could be considered misrepresentation. You are currently visiting Canada and I’m not sure why you are waiting until August to leave Canada if you don’t have a valid WP. There may be concerns that you are working illegally unless you can show you are living off of savings and not are why you would deplete your savings if you can’t work at the moment. You must update your address when you leave Canada and you will be asked to confirm that you are in Canada if you attempt to land virtually and have your PR card sent to a family member in Canada. You would be putting your PR status at risk if you lie. IRCC also can access CBSA records and see that you are not in Canada. You should plan to have your passport stamped with COPR in India and then you can reenter Canada and land as a PR.
