I have applied for permanent residence in Canada through Sponsorshio agreement holers (SAH). I have submitted the forms on 4th October 2016. I have recieved G-number on 5th january 2017. On April i have recieved an acknowledgement email confirming that my documents have arrived at visa office. The same email as well confirms that my application is in process. My detail is as follows:

1: We recieved your application for permanent residence on october 2016.

2: We sent you correspondence acknowledging reciept of your application on April 2017.

3: We started processing your application on April 2017.


It has been four months since the start of processing my application. kindly update me. Thanks

I think you have actually applied for refugee status through a private sponsorship agreement. I have attached a link where you can input your information and it should give you the approximate processing time. It is usually more like years not months,
