re-doing medical exam. How long until Visa?

Hi All,

I received email from CIC one week back asking to re-do medical and I did my medical exam second time on 12th September, 2013. If everything goes well then how long does it take to get Visa after re-doing medical exam? What will be the next stage and how many more stages are there?

Hi there, you may get a better answer directly through the New Delhi Visa Office (NDVO) thread as each overseas office can differ in their operations and timelines. If the re-do of medicals is the last item (it appears you passed your interview some time ago) then I see no reason why you would not get your visa and be able to land before Christmas. Usually the NDVO asks for passports early in their process while most other visa offices ask for the passport as the last step in their process. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in on your question soon. It certainly seems like you are near the end. Blessings.
