I have re- submit my.new application on august 2013, and by far i havent heard any updates yet, not even a file.number.

Its.been 90 days now, and i dont know what i should do

Im looking for help here, anyone know how long it takes to get file number for re-apply

Did you made pre online payment or sent credit card details for pay ment?
if credit card number is provided Did CIC charged fee on your credit card check these details.

Sometimes there may be a chnaces of missing Emails also check application status based on your client ID at below URL.

Can you post the thread link which has your rejection details.
Check E-CAS and if you don't see any update for your application, then email CIC. CIC will respond within 20 business days.

I know one guy, who got rejected, replied (with cover letter explaining a reason of reapplying), and got AOR within 1.5 months, as normally...

Thank u
Do u know when he re-applied?
I think my case takes longer due to the officer strike previously

Anyway, it couldnt be this slow, 90 days now, nothing updated

I heard its very risky to re-apply CEC right now especially the first time application got rejected , because they want to limit the number of applicants. I havent gotten a file number yet and its already been 90 days now, i heard they might just return my application and not even look at it, is this ture ?

Of course they will look at it. From the instruction guide (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5609ETOC.asp#5609E8):

If your application is:

  • incomplete, or
  • the allowable cap limit has been reached,

your entire package (including your payment) will be returned to you with a letter explaining why it is being returned. No file will be created or record kept until a complete application has been submitted.

Even if they did somehow discriminate against resubmitted applications, as they have no record of the original application, they would still need to process the resubmitted application.

90 days long wait is certainly not usual for AOR judging by the current trend I have seen.
They will assess your file based on how complete your application is according to the document checklist and any other standards they have instructed that you meet. It is possible that they might have already issued you an AOR and you did not receive it. That is if your application was COMPLETE and met the criteria for eligibility process, which is done in Ottawa.
They will NOT just return anyone's application for no reason. It is their job to make sure every application is processed in a proper and fair manner.
Send an email to sydney and inquire about your application by giving them the details of dates. (when it was sent to sydney and when it was received by them)
The fact that your previous application was rejected has nothing to do with your current application.

Can you log in to ECAS?

I can log in ECAS with my previous client ID since thats the only available login id i have, it still shows "decision made" which was my first time application rejection , also shows when my first time application was received
Nothing beside that updated

you cant do any thing other than waiting.people have recieved AOR in 3 or 4 months before..As long as you know application is recieved you should be calm. Wait for 15 days and then mail CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

Thank u, my friend, i will call cic tomorrow, then let u know.whats.going. on

Waiting 90 days for an AOR is unusual, but not unheard of. Have a look at the CEC tracker (http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/canadian-experience-class) and you can find other examples.

Hi guys
Since this is my second time apply for cec, i wonder whats the chance to get rejected again?

Your new application does not depend on previous rejection. Don't worry, new application will be considered as a new.
Second, you can try to appeal and email to Ottawa (OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca) with new reference letter, asking them for reconsider your case.
Do it asap (if you do it after month after rejection - this is too late).
Before emailing the, ask your friends to read your letter, or post it here to ask people's opinion
