I send a email to my local visa office in Jamaica yesterday, just to know the progress of my application from 2007. Today I received a reply which states that my application is IN PROCESS and no further action is required my me at this time.

Can someone explain to me what does this mean.

Its a standard reply from CHCs.

Yes it is indeed a standard reply but as a 2007 applicant you can expect for an indefinite delay..to receive MR. Even the post feb 2008 "fast track system applicant average processing time extended 15-18 months which also piled into the earlier backlogs....
