I filed for my PR under the CEC category in February and got an RCMP Criminal Record check for only my wife. Went today and had the fingerprints submitted electronically but forgot to specify "CPP-Ottawa" anywhere in the process.
http: //www .rcmp-grc .gc .ca / cr-cj / fing-empr2-eng .htm mentions that the applicant has to specify the consulate/embassy name in the form but my wife was not given a form anywhere as the process was completely electronic. Is this going to cause the RCMP criminal record to be rejected by the CIC?
Request fellow applicants who have gone through the process of getting the criminal record check electronically to share some light on this issue.
