RCMP criminal record check

we just got letter from cic asking rcmp criminal record check for my hubby so i was wondering should we go to rcmp or get it done with RCMP Accredited agency? Does it really matter? Does CIC ask Vulnerable Sector Search? because RCMP Accredited agency dont provide them. They gave us 2 weeks to finish the procedure so what do we do after giving fingerprint? Just upload via IRCC WEB FORM or email to this adress VCR-FCPU/UTCF@cic.gc.ca?

An accredited agency is fine. If they arebt requesting the vulnerable person screening it isnt required. Once you get it back you canupload on your gckey account

If you live in Richmond. You cannot go to Burnaby RCMP or VPD Main Office. You must go to your district main station. And they will send the information to CIC. You will get updates within 3 weeks in web form status

When you get your fingerprints done they send directly to the indicated address,in my case I got mine done from commissionaires and they sent the reports directly to the Vancouver hub just in case if you want a copy then you need to pay the fees again...ask them how it works with them so you know what you have to do.
