RCMP Call

Hi guys! this morning my wife got call from 1-888-242-2100, this is the same person calling few days before he called as RCMP and he was claiming the we didn't updated some financial institution number last time. but this time he called as CIC we just hanged up the phone. later when I googled it's CIC number. My PNP PR file is under processing but I'm the main applicant if it's CIC call I should got that call I think?

Please anyone have an idea, this guy is calling again and again. Is it a fake call or RCMP? or CIC

It is a scam, i have got numerous calls like this, that we are calling from the CIC, and since you have a police complaint, a police person will be visiting you soon, please provide more details.


I simple say, pls send the police and we will talk, hang up.

Thanks Raman for your reply, the thing is my wife is scaring becuuase he is calling form different numbers, one time we got call from 647 ( toronto) one 911 and sometimes CIC, and sometimes CRA number.

I donno why it happening with us!

I got two calls from the same numbers. The first call was from 1800 CiC number and the second was from 911. I didn't answer and they never left a voicemail.

100% scam. i heard bunch of ppl's experience abt this type of fake call.
never respond them.
