I have done engineering which is a 4 yr degree. so i think with the PGEM points will be added according to
Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years

which is 7 points...
If you are applying without spouse, it means that at the moment you have 120 in "Level of Education" factor. So, with the master´s degree you will be able to increase to 135 points (i.e. adding 15 points to your profile).

Congrats everyone! 441 *almost* wiped out even with IELTS results. (Please let this theory die down please. It is NOT easy to get CLB 9 easily)
In that case, it cost's you money, additional paperwork and you need to meet some criteria to get a nomination. In case of Ontario, they send you a notification to apply.
For OINP HCP, what is the criteria? I know the following three. Is there anything else beside these?
1. Score in the range they decide. I think it was 433 to 441 last time.
2. NOC to be from the in-demand list of occupations.
3. Whether Ontario/All provinces is selected while creating EE profile or not.[/QUOTE]

NOC in in-demand list for now is not necessary. Any NOC will be accepted as long as they are within the range of CRS score that they are accepting! :)

But somehow I am not able to wrap my head around the numbers. For that score range, there must be 6000+ profiles in the pool but NOIs were issued to only 500 odd. How come?

I dont understand how can you say there is no surge. Just take the numbers that we have and analyse them. ON July 19 there were 2167 profile in the 441 and above. Now my estimate is currently there are 150 profile left in 441. So before the draw today there were 3900 profile in 441 and above. So in 6 days 1733 profile got added in 441 and above that is 288 profile oer day in that range. That is just super high.

Now lets consider the whole two weeks. Last Draw was 442 with june cut off so basically around 10-20 profile left in 442. This week week 441 with december cut off. So I would say around 40-50 old profile got removed today. So around 3700 new entry got added in the 441 and above in just 14 days. That is 264 profile per day in 441+ region.

Without Ielts we had around 225 per day. Now you decide if IELTS have any effect or not.
Completely agree!! And btw congratulations man!! Wish you best of luck down the road!!

Back then, they accepted profiles created within a date range for a specific range of CRS Score. For example, the first batch of NOIs only accepted CRS score 441-444 for profiles created from January 1, 2018.

That's why they were able to cut it down to 500 profiles because some people didn't create a new profile

Makes sense. Thank you. Seems like the only option for me whenever they open again. 433 score and have maxed out the IELTS scores. So want to make sure I am covered.

If you are able to get the ECA of your PGEM as at least 1-year diploma, then it will add 25 points on skill transferability (assuming you have CLB9 in IELTS) and another 7 points in Education. With 470 points, should be a sureshot ITA :)
Do research though if WES will recognize your distant diploma, else you'll have to get it done by IQAS

So glad "that the whole score will be 450+ given the release of 2 IELTs results" has been disproved, its not right to assume that all those receiving their IELTs are maxing out or scoring CLB9.

Nobody said 450+, IELTS definitely had an impact look at above posts. Average going up from 220 to 264.
