hi i have a question about the fields in Education

i studied ACCA in Trinidad. but the fields are asking for '' Country of Study'' and ''Name of Instituition'' do i put England as the Country of Study ? If i put Trinidad, but the Degree is from ACCA England!

Same for my MBA, i studied in Trinidad but my degree is from Heriot Watt University which is in England

I also have ACCA and OBU and studied from Pakistan. I put Glasgow and Oxfordshire in city of study. My application is more than three months old now and no problems so far. So you can go ahead on this!

Hii.. I had same issue.. here u need to be careful.. u need to mention ur actual country of study not the country of authority awarded the certificate.. if u write UK then later u hv to provide PCC for UK also as some ppl faced this issue and u cannot provide PCC since u never visited(assuming) UK ..I have put actual country of study... In addition if u mention UK then its a false statement..good luck..

After ten dark months finally the bright ray of hope is up as the latest IELTS result gifted me a total CRS of 499.. enough for my safe landing...

I had the same query and I asked CiC official page on FB. They replied to me that I've to write country in which the university is registered.

Now I'm confused.

Its really confusing.. i chkd with couple of lawyers.. they said u need to write the country in which u studied as its a distant learning program... only worry is if one mentions country of university then PCC req may arise.. otherwise u r writing truth that u studied in a country other than UK.. and if querry arises i think it can be explained later..

Guys don't get confused. I posted this earlier, here again.
  • Where an ECA has been obtained, the applicant must provide the ECA reference number in their e-APR for online validation directly from the issuing organization.
    • A scanned copy of the ECA is not required when submitting the e-APR but may be requested by IRCC at a later date.
    • Applicants are instructed to indicate that their education was completed by correspondence by typing in brackets {by correspondence} on the same line as the education institution name found in the Education Background Information tab of GCMS. The discretion remains with the officer to decide if a police certificate is required for the country of the education institution
