Thank you! You've been a real help! I updated my profile and my score increased from 432 to 480. I received 18 points for the second language and the extra 30 points.

I took the e-version for reading and listening. For the reading part there are some questions that are very easy, at the beginning and at the end of the test so I did those first. Than I went back to the middle part, which is more difficult, with long and complex texts. So I've had the time to concentrate more on those. Here you have more difficult questions about the meaning of a text and even though I didn't know all the words in the text I tried to deduce the meaning from the context. I also made a habit of reading French newspapers, which is also useful for the writing test - first subject - writing les Faits divers and even useful with different major subjects that you can use on your argumentation on the second part of the writing test. I listened to French posts on the radio, I watched TV 5 Monde, even just as background noise, just to hear people talking in French. Anyway, the writing part I found it to be the most difficult, I ran out of time, barely had the time to check my text once. I hope this helps...

Thank you again!
Thanks a lot for your answer! Great job you have done and congrats with extra points along with the points of second language
You will get an ITA for sure, get ready all docs!

Regarding writing and speaking, those are a piece of cake for me, without doing much effort I'm able to score CLB9, during preparation the only problem was reading part for me, but if an an applicant practises more then it's easy to score like you did )

Bravo and once again congrats!

As much as I would like to say CRS will come down in late 420s - mid 430s, it doesn't look like it and I agree with your prediction. Mostly it may be between 442-445. However, I have a strong feeling going into May, it will only reduce with sustained mid 440s since a while now.

Well, unless they do another draw with a 3 week gap, May seems more practical for the high 430 range. I really wish they do a weekly draw Mid-April, that way folks with high 430s could get thru at least by end of this month.

It wouldn't affect EE immediately, couple of months - yeah, assuming the ones who got the NOI back in January are just getting that 600 points
They have started getting those points in mid March itself. That's why you saw the sharp spike in CRS cut off post 3 week draw.

What’s the impact on the applications submitted in oinp if the hcp stream closes? Are they processed or be on hold till it opens again??

Judging from how was it done in the past. If they announce temporary closure on some streams, that means that they will not accept any new applications (regardless if you have NOI or not).
So they might pause some streams this week and they might also adjust some rules there.

But what about the applications already in Submitted status?

I hope you realize the EE pool would be crowded with profiles from CRS 425 till 441. So high number of invites and back to back draws like beginning of last year is required.
Hi, sorry but What you mean with back to back draws ? thank you

Has anyone who accepted OINP in March recieved nomination? Or even a change of status on the profile?

Me and my husband accepted OINP on 7th March and submitted all our documents along with the process fees....the status on the profile still says “submitted”.

This waiting and hoping is veryy difficult!

Guys seriously no draw yesterday?
When would be the next draw?
Sadly nope. Who knows when it will be. After the last draw on a Monday i think everything is possible now. Today, tomorrow or Monday next week are the open chances. It seems CIC wants to our expand our waiting not only Wednesday nights.

If the draw doesn't happen today and happens next Wednesday, then cut off would go to the 445-450 range.

we have seriously lost the advantage of not having IELTS exam results for the last 2 weeks, with IELTS results coming out tomorrow, whenever the draw takes place next week the Cutoff will go above 446 for sure now........... In January we have seen optimistic predictions on the cutoff to go down to 435 by end March, now we are having April and the cutoff is still there where it was in December. Not only the competition have soared, we have also seen CIC to become so tight on having draws with big numbers. It doesn't look good from any angle now, from now on prediction can end peoples dream to migrate to Canada. & with OINP being so contradictory this year, Ray of Hope is definitely getting narrower and narrower everyday !!!!
