Its almost 12 noon in Canada.. do they really declare the draw this late? Should we wait ? Anyone who knows or has experienced something like this before?

I used to mark for Uni, granted it was not IELTS, but very rarely do you get more than 5% (or .5 out of 10) because markers do take their jobs seriously. For your consideration.

Yeah, I just need .5!!! I got CLB in everything but 8 in writing, so what do you think I should do?

May be your friends are <3yr H1B tenure. They wound not do it if their H1B are up for expiration. As we all know currently the top Indian MNCs dont file GCs for H1B holders. Canada is their only hope, as I suppose no other country has an equivalent program.

Australia has a very similar program. But many just seem too lazy to put in the effort needed for EE document preparation.

They usually do the draws between 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM (I read it on somewhere on the forum)

When I logged into my GC KEY, there was a message that the site was having maintence work done..maybe this is a reason for the delay?

with IELTS results rolling out thrice in February & H1B people start getting into the pool & with 2750 fixed ita & again a three week gap between draws, the ray of hope seems to be at its minimum. Yes, its gonna be hell guys..........everyone in the 430's start packing your bag & try to get the points up the hard way its not gonna happen in 2018 at least. May 2019 be ours !!!!

Anyone can get a job sooner or later, after all everyone works. Looking at CIC's perspective they need people who can work longer number of years and hence choosing younger folks over experienced. Although we have good chances of getting job, anywhere, young guys like you get to do the landing first, in Canada

Don't think so. Keeping in mind the number of people in pool , ITA's against the number of NOI's issued i believe it wont make much of a difference.

Weather update. There a huge snow cloud passing from Toronto up to Ottawa and further north. That means heavy snow. So it just can be that it will be late because of that. good luck

This is the point where I turn from an optimist to a realist. Pretty sure it's a draw of hearts next week. Hopefully the CRS slide will be stopped next week around 448-449 mark.
